LEGO trains at Bricktastic 2026
Late February and the LNUR team were headed back to Bricktastic, the UK’s largest LEGO fan event, for more LEGO train fun.
With 9 exhibitors on the northern layout, plus Ben’s lovely Brick End Railway, Andy’s Rectory Lane London Underground display, and Jules, Jonathan and Nicola’s vintage LEGO town and railway displays, we had 14 active exhibitors this year!
The LNUR branchline
We had a new scenic section in the form of the LNUR branchline, built by Shane, Lewis and Richard and featuring an additional 20 or so metres of track, a rebuilt Brickley, and a reborn Ambridge station.

New modules on the mainline, too
We also had new scenery on our branchline, too, thanks to Lewis, John and Jules.
Lewis’ lighthouse corner was on display on its second outing this year, and John’s new industrial scene gave us some busy-ness on the approach to Jack’s impressive roofed station. 
Jules’ new town corner
Jules’ new town module made its debut at Bricktastic this year too, featuring a cluster of shops and businesses surrounding both sides of the track.
Landscape before locos
We are a LEGO train club, but what our members build varies hugely – a small group of us build landscape more often than locomotives, and thus Jules’ idea for “landscape before locos” t-shirts was born for those who contributed landscape for the weekend at Bricktastic!
