Billingate – LEGO model railway

Billingate is the layout of member Will, aka Block Junction, created with the aim of creating a model railway display from LEGO bricks.

The scenery is centred around the fictional station of Billingate, now part of a heritage railway.

Layout requirements

Open to invitations: LEGO show and model railway exhibition managers can email lnurailway@gmail.com with requests for this display to appear at events in the UK.

Layout size Minimum size for tables is approximately 20x6ft (6×1.8m), and we require sufficient room for operators behind the layout (approx 1m).
Operators Minimum of 3, often 4 – 6 operators.
Layout era
Power requirements All locomotives on this layout are battery powered. We do require access to mains power to enable us to recharge during events, to keep the trains running.
Table requirements Requires 8 6×2.5ft (180x75cm) tables.
