LEGO UK Railway (LUKR) is a LEGO train club based in the UK.
We are a cooperative of adult LEGO fans based in the United Kingdom, founded in 2017 as LEGO Northern UK Railway (LNUR). The club is now also home to LSUR – LEGO Southern UK Railway.
Our purpose
The purpose of LEGO UK Railway is to:
- promote the LEGO train hobby to adults and children in the UK
- provide a foundation to bring adult LEGO fans together to collaborate on LEGO locomotive models and landscapes for LEGO railways
- build and display LEGO railway displays at LEGO shows and model railway shows
We welcome new (18 years+) members from across the UK – we have members in Scotland, and throughout the north and south of England. If you’d like to become a member, please read our membership page.
The UK LEGO train club
LUKR is the largest and most active LEGO train club in the UK with around 35 members. We are not a LEGO User Group (LUG) – there are plenty of LUGs in the UK – we are a collaborative of members from LEGO User Groups across the UK.
We’re on club with two chapters, to help LEGO train fans get involved across the UK. LUKR members have all of the benefits of membership wherever they are based.
LNUR – LEGO Northern UK Railway
Our original chapter, LNUR – LEGO Northern UK Railway – was founded in 2017 and has grown to the club today.
This chapter includes members in Scotland, in the North East and North West of England, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
LSUR – LEGO Southern UK Railway
LSUR –LEGO Southern UK Railway – is our southern chapter, currently with around 15 members.
The chapter has members from Norfolk, the south east and south west of England.
Membership bricks
One of our membership benefits is an annual LNUR membership brick. The design of this is different each year, reflecting a different railway company livery past or present.
2019 – LNER 1930s style

2020 – East Midlands Railway style
Our current member logo
To celebrate the creation of our southern group, we’ve gone all southern for our 2021 member logo!
